Molly began studying music in elementary
school with
clarinet and piano lessons. She started singing with the High School
chorus and
continued at the University
of Georgia with
the
chorus
and glee club.
A few years out of college, she moved to France to continue her
studies
where she bought her first guitar. While there, she performed for
various
dinner parties and festivals, and even performed for an engineering
school
class.
Upon returning to the United States,
she continued with guitar lessons and began performing for coffee shops
and
delis in the Greenville
and Simpsonville area.
During this time, she began working with a group of outstanding
musicians on a
regular basis. This experience helped her find the sound and music that
would
show the true range of her talent.
Throughout the progression of different bands and musicians there was
always
one constant, her keyboard player, Judd Terrell. Together they have
been able
to polish the sound that is a mix of blues and classic standards that
is:
Mac Morgan
Molly is very grateful to all the musicians she meets and has the
opportunity
to perform with, and also to her mother for her eternal emotional (and
sometimes financial) support over the years.

Judd, like Molly, started lessons on the
clarinet in
elementary school, however it didn't stop there. In High School he
started
piano lessons and was finishing a lesson book once a month for the
first year.
He was still performing on the clarinet in various High School bands,
including
a Dixieland Jazz band that he formed by enlisting other band members.
They
would perform regularly for school functions and local festivals.
Eventually,
he started learning other instruments and writing arrangements for the
marching
and concert bands as well as the Dixieland band.
While at the University
of South Carolina,
he
continued with various bands and orchestras, performing and
arranging
music. It was not unusual to have a band director or conductor ask him
if he
could play a certain instrument. His reply was always, "Give me a
fingering chart and an hour and I will let you know."
While at USC, he performed with the band that opened for Stan Kenton on
two
occasions.
After graduation, Judd started working for a music store teaching
guitar,
piano, organ, and any other instrument that the students were
interested in. He
also performed with local bands, including the O'Kaysions ("I'm a Girl
Watcher"), and he also worked with house bands at local restaurants and
has performed all over the United States.
Judd has performed Classical, Rock, Beach, Country, Religious,
Contemporary
Christian, and R&B; but his first love was always Jazz and Blues.
